Pedigree-Club rules apply

No tracing, smudging, or photomanips. All entries must be original. If the image is referenced, you are to credit the reference image(s).
Any entries depicting violence, injuries, or capturing prey must be marked mature.
Collab entries will be accepted, but cannot be awarded CACIT.
Blankets do not have to included but count towards your effort score.

Hares do not have to be depicted but count towards your effort score.

Multiple dogs can be depicted but each dog will earn a different score depending on their poses/etc. Hunting hare is a team activity. Max four dogs per image (RNG headshots don't count). Also, I will honor the fact these dogs hunted together in my show judging.

RNG - CACITs for acceptable effort entries

RNG art entries must be colored. Linearts may not be reused between shows, venues, or rounds - but edit(s) may be made to the lineart to make it work between different breeds within that round. RNG written entries must be the normal 150 words or longer.

Effort Entries & CACITs

This show is RNG only - however entries which meet the requirements for PC CACITs will have them awarded.

The McFarland judging rubric for effort entries is on the Judges Handbook page.

Backgrounds

Entries with inaccurate or low effort backgrounds will never be awarded CACIT. This event is held in sparse grass, lots of bushes, and dry "hostile" brushland. There are some old fences but there should never be barbed wire depicted and depicting fences should be avoided. There are some old run-down historic houses, but drawing modern buildings and houses is strictly prohibited. Clouds will NOT count as an element. There should be a clear ground, sky, and foliage. Drawing blobs for foliage will not be awarded CACIT. Detail is rewarded. If you think it's borderline, then add more detail.

Equipment
Dogs may not be wearing muzzles and if depicting more than one dog, the dogs off leash cannot exceed four at a time. Only one of the off leash dogs may be without a blanket but drawing them is not required. Blankets (if drawn) may not have numbers. Dogs can only wear plain collars with no tags or with nameplates instead, or an electronic collar, however no collar is preferred. Coursing slips are permitted.

Composition
Drawing the gallery rousing hares rather than an active hunt is explicitly permitted and encouraged.

All dogs wanting CACIT must be fullbody, though shading is not required it is encouraged.

Collab entries can win Judges Choice over non-CACIT entries.

Collabs are permitted but cannot be awarded CACIT.
