NPC Interactions
How Do They Work?
Each kennel owner has a built in personality and preferred communication devices. Some kennel owners may be older folks who only do phone calls and letters and be entirely absent on Facebook, or perhaps others might be extremely active on Facebook but never check their email. How you choose to interact with NPCs will determine your success.
What do I earn?
NPCs often own import dogs that are unrelated to common bloodlines, and their dogs are never greedy. This means that you can earn breeding slots to dogs or NPCs may even contact you for breedings!
Artwork Requirements
Drawings
Drawing should have four clear back ground elements: a ground, two elements or details of your choice, and a sky or ceiling. Clouds do not count as an element but rather as part of the sky. Additional elements and details can be birds, a plane in the sky, a desk, a computer chair, a dog bed, trees, fences, a lamb, a vehicle, bookshelf, a window, table, barn, house, etc. Each choice element besides foliage should have enough discernable "parts" and detail to be easily recognized.
Written Art
If your interaction is 100% written, then it should be 1,000 words long.
If you have paired this with art (like a letter or screen but no background) that features legible writing, then deduct any words depicted in the drawing from the word count.
Content and Setting
A dog or handler should be depicted in each interaction image. You can include both if you want!
Ideas include a computer desk with a dog laid next to it and text on the screen, a handwritten letter on a desk with a dog next to it, your handler talking on the phone, a handler using a pen to write a letter, a handler striking conversation in the gallery, putting a letter into a mailbox or post office or to a mail handler, your dog chewing the first draft of the letter, make creativity your friend!
Currently Active NPCS
All NPCS have their own personalities, priorities, and ways to get "right" with them. Some may be motivated by fame, friendship, or just straight up money. Players are encouraged to debate and discussion among themselves what things have worked and what has not.
