Best Champion in Field is not a title, but rather it is an award given to select dogs who prove their prowess in NOFCA in the uncommon and prestigious Coursing Champion-only class. This class is a mixed stake only class, making it more challenging.

Any dog that achieves BCIF is recommended for breeding.

Comparable to High in Trial (HIT) and should be considered a HIT when counting XP.

Dogs whom earn more than one BCIF earn the unofficial prefix of MBCIF. This award is harder to earn than BCIF because this class is not often offered.
