Best in Field (BIF)
Best in Field is not a title, but it is an award given to select dogs who prove their prowess in NOFCA by being the total overall winner in each trial, beating not only at least five dogs of their own breed but also other breeds to earn the incredible achievement.
Indeed, any dog that achieves BIF should be considered a valuable asset to the breed's future and is recommended for breeding.
Comparable to High in Trial (HIT) and should be considered a HIT when counting XP.
Dogs whom earn more than one BIF earn the unoffical prefix of MBIF.
